Fresh Salsa

Yields: 2-3 cups
Ingredients
- 1 onion, peeled
- 1 garlic clove
- 1⁄4-1 jalapeno pepper, cored and seeded
- 4 tomatoes
- 1⁄4 cup fresh cilantro, packed or 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- salt and pepper
- hot sauce (optional)
Directions
- Using chopping/mixing blade in your food processor, drop onion, garlic, clove, and hot pepper through the food chute and chop until finely minced.
- Stop processor.
- Add tomatoes, cilantro, cumin, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Pulse until desired texture.
- Add hot sauce if desired.
