Fresh Fruits in Syrup

A flavourful dessert - asian inspired. You can mix and match the fruit depending on availibility.

  1. In saucepan bring waterm sugar, star anise, cinamon and lemon grass to boil. Simmer for 20 minutes, strain and set aside.
  2. Slice and peel fruit accordingly.
  3. Place in serving bowl.
  4. Pour warm syrup over the fruit.
  5. Cover and set aside to cool.
  6. Refrigerate until needed.
