Fresh Corn on the Cob Ala Pressure Cooker

We like our corn on the soft side so the time table varies.

Serves: 3-6

Yields: 6 ears

Ingredients

  • 6  ears  corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
  • 1  teaspoon salt
  • 1  tablespoon butter
  • 1  teaspoon sugar
  •  water

Directions

  1. Place corn into the pot and cover with water so that the pressure cooker is about 1/2 full. Add butter, salt and sugar.
  2. Bring to high and cook for 2 minutes ( crispy corn) to 10 minutes ( soft corn ).
  3. Turn off heat and let pressure come down naturally.
