French Style Sauce

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1⁄3 cup chicken stock
- 1⁄3 cup dry red wine
- 1⁄2 lb mushroom, sliced
- 1⁄2 cup jarred white pearl onion, drained
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- minced parsley (to garnish)
Directions
- Heat chicken stock and wine to boiling. Add mushrooms, reduce heat and simmer until mushrooms are wilted, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in onions and thyme; cook uncovered, about 5 minutes. Spoon over chicken. Garnish with parsley.
