French Butter Creams

Yields: 36 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
Directions
- Beat all above at low speed with mixer.
- Add 2 1/4 cups flour by hand. Chill.
- Roll into 1 inches ball. Flatten with riss cross and sprinkle with red or green sugar. Bake 350 degrees.
