Frazipan (Danish Almond Cake)

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Grate the almond paste.
  3. Add butter and sugar, mix well.
  4. Add eggs gradually, stir with whisk until fully incorporated.
  5. Use a spatula to FOLD in the flour (don't whisk, the cake will turn out very tough).
  6. Pour cake batter into a 10-inch tart pan, bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Sprinkle powdered sugar or top with fruits (optional).
