Fourth of July Bean Casserole (Taste of Home)

I have to say this is my favorite baked bean recipe so far. I didn't add the extra sugar or packed brown sugar or the molasses because I thought it was too sweet already. I threw in some spicy mustard to give it more of a kick, but I will post as written. The beef and bacon make plain pork and beans so much better. Show more

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon, beef, and onion until meat is no longer pink and drain.
  2. Transfer to a greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish and add all of the beans and mix well. In a small bowl combine the remaining ingredients and stir into beef and bean mixture.
  3. Cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
