Fondue Toasts

Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1⁄2 cup dry white wine
- fresh nutmeg
- black pepper
- 10 toast points
Directions
- In bowl, combine cheese and cornstarch. Mix well to ensure cheese is well coated.
- In a saucepan, bring wine to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low. Add cheese mixture and cook, stirring, until mixture is melted and thick, about 2 minutes. Season to taste with nutmeg and pepper.
- Place toast points on a rimmed baking sheet. Spoon cheese mixture evenly. Broil just until cheese begins to brown, about 2 minutes.
