Fondue Herb Sauce

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- fresh ground pepper
- 1 1⁄2 cups salad oil
- 1⁄2 cup chives, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon onion, grated
Directions
- Beat yolks until frothy. Beat in lemon juice,salt & pepper. Beat in oil, about a teaspoon at a time until 1/2 cup has been added. Add rest of oil more quickly, about a tablespoon at a time. Beat until like mayonnaise. May not need all the oil.
- Stir in chives, parsley & onion. Chill until ready to serve.
