Flank Steak Bourbon

Ingredients
- 3 lbs flank steaks
Marinade
- 1⁄2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1⁄4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 ounces Bourbon (or cider vinegar)
- 1⁄2 cup water
Directions
- Combine all marinade ingredients; heat to dissolve. Marinate steak in marinade for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator (covered).
- Coat grill with additional olive oil. Grill with continuous basting for 10 minutes, turning once.
- Slice meat against the grain (on a slant) very thin.
- Boil excess marinade for 2-3 minutes and use as sauce.
