Five Grain Health Bread

This is a darker chewy wheat bread that is not sweet like many of the versions I have found. It is originally from "The Bread Machine Cookbook", but I added yeast and vital wheat gluten to keep it from being too dense. Make this in your bread machine on the dough cycle. It is a 1-1/2 pound loaf, but I usually bake it in two 8.5 x 4.5 pyrex loaf pans. Show more
