Ingredients

  • 1  tilapia fillet
  • 14 cup buttermilk
  • 14 cup  breading for  seafood (such as Zatarains)
  • 1  ounce  vegetable oil
  • 2  flour tortillas
  • 12 ounce  tartar sauce
  • 1  ounce chopped tomato
  • 1  tablespoon  jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 14 cup lettuce

Directions

  1. Place buttermilk in a shallow dish.
  2. Place seafood breading in another dish.
  3. Heat 1 oz of vegetable oil in a medium saute pan.
  4. Dip talapia fillet in buttermilk then into breading mixture.
  5. Carefully place fillet into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  6. Heat flour tortilla (in microwave on high for 30 seconds) and place on a plate.
  7. Spread tartar sauce across tortilla and add fried talapia fillet.
  8. Add lettuce, tomato and jalapeno.
  9. Fold tortilla over and serve as a wrap.
