Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 whole clove
- 1 inch piece fresh gingerroot (cracked)
- 1⁄2 tablespoon anise seed
Garnish
- sugar
- toasted walnuts
- toasted pine nuts
Directions
- Combine spices to water and boil until water turns dark
- Pour into cups, add sugar (to taste) and add a walnut to each cup.
