Filet Mignon for the Grill

This is a very easy and tasteful recipe that took about 40 min from start to finish. Pairs well with homemade or store-bought bbq sauce, or stands alone. We served it with some rice pilaf from a box, and ate it all up! Show more

Directions

  1. Put the EVOO in a medium to large-sized saucepan and put on a medium heat. Use a generous amount of the rub on each side of each filet and lightly coat each with flour. Place each filet in the saucepan and braise each side for 3-5 minutes. Add the beef broth and turn heat to low and let simmer for as long as it takes to make the rice. Once the rice is almost ready, put the filets on your grill for no more than 5 minutes per side on low heat. ENJOY!
