Fig Nut Candy

Yields: 1 batch

Ingredients

  • 2  cups dried figs
  • 2  cups  nuts, crushed
  • 12 lb  chocolate-flavored candy coating or 12 lb chocolate chips, melted

Directions

  1. Immerse figs in boiling water for ten minutes; dry thoroughly, clip stems and grind.
  2. Blend with nuts and pat into a thin square.
  3. Spread with half of the melted chocolate; cool.
  4. Turn square over and repeat.
  5. Cut into pieces and serve.
