Fettuccine With Shrimp and Basil Cream

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package fettuccine, uncooked
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped or 3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 lb shrimp, cleaned and devined
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves or 1 table spoon dried basil, packed
- salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups heavy cream
Directions
- Cook Fettuccine according to package directions.
- drain.
- In a large skillet meltbutter over medium heat
- Add garlicand saute until lightly browned.
- Add shrimp cook for 4minutes or until shrimp pink.
- stir in basil,salt and heavy cream.
- let simmer for 5 minutes.
- pour sauce over pasta and serve immediately.
