Festive Apple Dip

I forgot to add the hot fudge topping to this, and this is still the most fabulous thing I've ever had. Recipe courtesy of Taste of Home Contest Winning Annual Recipes 2009.

• Serves: 8

Ingredients

• 8  ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1⁄2 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1⁄3 cup  packed brown sugar
• 1  teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1⁄2 cup miniature marshmallow
• 11 3⁄4 ounces  chocolate fudge topping
• 2  tablespoons  chopped  mixed nuts or 2  tablespoons peanuts
• 3  medium red apples or 3  medium green apples, cut into wedges
• 2  tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

1. In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
2. Stir in marshmallows. Spoon half into a 3-cup bowl and spread with half of the hot fudge topping.
3. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with nuts.
4. Toss the apples with lemon juice. Serve immediately with dip.
