this is great to hang outside for the birds...if you can keep the squirrels away..I like to make and give this as gifts to my friends..always a hit..you will need to save the mesh bags, like onions or potato bags for this recipe..you may use other dried fruit that raisins.. Show more

Directions

  1. stir together flour, oats and baking powder -- add fruit.
  2. beat eggs, add milk, then oil.
  3. stir into dry ingredients.
  4. pour into 2 (8" or 9") greased square pans.
  5. bake at 375* for 20 minutes.
  6. let cool, then crumble and fill mesh bags, like onions bags.
  7. and hang outside for birds.
  8. squirrels love it as well.
  9. this is good to use leftover dried fruit that is a little past its prime -- .
