Fattening Hot Fudge Sauce

Smooth and delicious. The recipe uses whipping cream and lots of sugar so it tastes great. I am always asked to bring it to friends' houses for potlucks.

• Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients

• 4  ounces  unsweetened chocolate
• 1  tablespoon butter
• 1  cup sugar
• 1  dash salt
• 1  cup  whipping cream
• 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1  cup walnuts (optional)

Directions

1. Melt chocolate and butter over low heat.
2. Stir in sugar and salt.
3. Gradually stir in cream.
4. Cook and stir over medium heat for 3 - 4 minutes until the sauce is smooth.
5. Stir in vanilla and walnuts (optional).
