Fat Free Italian Dressing

I tweaked our favorite Italian Dressing recipe so it was healthier and more WW friendly. The original recipe (which is Homemade Italian Salad Dressing) is fantastic, but it is 2 points plus per Tablespoon. This version is 1 point plus for the WHOLE recipe! We use it on salads, Italian subs, pasta, chicken and even as a dip for bread. You can use red or white wine vinegar. I actually prefer the taste of the red, but it looks more like Italian dressing if you use the white. Show more

  1. Mix the cornstarch and water together in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over high heat until it begins to thicken and is clear. (It will thicken even more once it is cool.).
  2. Combine all the ingredients, including the cornstarch mixture, in a jar with a lid. Cover and shake to mix thoroughly.
  3. Let stand for at least 2 hours to blend flavors. Shake well before using. Store at room temperature.
