Fat Cat Spicy Sauce

This is my version of Kansas City Style Barbeque Sauce - I spent 2 years developing this recipe to use in competition. It's pretty spicy on it's own, but paired up with pork or chicken (it really doesn't work with brisket), it's great - it's a blend of sweet and spicy, with a nice consistancy. Show more

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy bottomed pot.
  2. Bring to a low boil (on medium low) and then let the sauce cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and serve or chill.
  4. This sauce keeps about a year refrigerated.
