Fast Shrimp Pasta With Alfredo Sauce

This recipe is so fast, it's easy to do on a work night. This is my dh's favorite pasta recipe. We have it at least twice a month. Show more

  1. Thaw and shell shrimp.
  2. Heat pot of water for the pasta.
  3. Heat olive oil over med high heat in large fry or saute pan.
  4. Cut tomatoes into four slices each.
  5. Julienne the basil.
  6. Add garlic to oil and saute for 30 secs to 1 min.
  7. Add shrimp.
  8. Cook pasta.
  9. When shrimp are almost opaque (3-4 min), add alfredo sauce.
  10. Add tomatoes and basil.
  11. Drain pasta and add to pan.
  12. Serve at once.
