Famous Divinity

This recipe is so good! It is a really good treat that can be given to friends and family. It is really good around Christmas time.

• Yields: 20-25 pieces

Ingredients

• 2  cups sugar
• 2  egg whites
• 1⁄4 cup  white Karo
• 3⁄4 cup water
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1  cup  chopped pecans

Directions

1. In large glass mixing bowl,put 2 egg whites and beat stiff.
2. Have 2 cups of sugar and 1/4 cup white Karo syrup and 3/4 cup water and 1 tsp.vanilla boiling on stove until it strings a string.
3. Add 2 egg whites,beating while pouring until shine goes away or starts to get hard to beat.
4. Take out beaters.
5. Add nuts.
6. Spoon on waxed paper.
