Excellent Christmas Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups butter
- 4 cups light brown sugar
- 6 cups flour
- 3 eggs, separated & divided
Directions
- Cream together butter & sugar.
- Beat together 3 egg yolks & 1 egg white.
- Add flour alternately with beaten eggs.
- Roll out to desired thickness & cut with a cookie cutter.
- Beat remaining egg whites & brush tops of cookies.
- Bake at 350F until edges of cookies are barely brown.
