Ex-Husband's Grandmothers' (Ahhh-Mazing) Lasagna

Ingredients
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 quart Ragu tomato sauce
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1⁄2 lb mozzarella cheese
- 1⁄2 lb provolone cheese, sliced
- 1 lb ricotta cheese
- 1 large lasagna noodle
Directions
- Brown ground beef with the onions, then mix first 13 ingredients & cook for 3 hours, then assemble lasagna as per below:
- Cover bottom of the dish with sauce then layer noodles, ricotta, sauce. Repeat two times, then top with provolone, sauce then mozzarella.
- Bake at 350 until cheese is brown -- about 45 minute.
- Let stand 20 minutes before serving.
