Eva's Peanut Butter Fudge

This recipe was given to my mother years ago by her dear friend. It's very easy and very rich. Sometimes I melt a 6-oz pkg of choc chips and spread on top. Cooking time is approximate. Show more

Yields: 1 8x8 inch pan

  1. Bring sugar and evaporated milk to a boil in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Boil until it reaches the soft-ball stage.
  3. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, marshmallow creme and vanilla.
  4. Beat until well blended.
  5. Pour into buttered 8x8 pan.
  6. Refrigerate until set.
  7. Cut into 1 inch pieces.
