English Strawberry Sauce

Use with ice cream, cake, and even ice cream cake!

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups confectioners' sugar
• 5  tablespoons butter, softened
• 1  egg white, stiffly beaten
• 1 1⁄2 cups  ripe strawberries, crushed
• 1  tablespoon kirsch

Directions

1. Cream together sugar and butter.
2. Add egg white.
3. Fold in strawberries and kirsch.
