Enchilada Sauce

Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup vegetable oil
- 1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons new mexico chile powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons salt
Directions
- Heat oil in large saucepa; stir flour, chili powder and garlic powder. Cook for 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes.
