Enchilada Sauce

This is a quick and easy enchilada sauce recipe I got from my mother.

• Ready In: 20 mins
• Yields: 2-3 cups

Ingredients

• 3  tablespoons  oil
• 2  tablespoons flour
• 1⁄4 cup red chili powder
• 2  cups beef broth
•  salt
• 2 (10 1/2ounce) cans tomato puree
• 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

1. Heat oil in large saucepan.
2. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes.
