En-Light-Ened Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
- 1 nonstick cooking spray
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Combine flour, soda and salt in small bowl; set aside.
- Beat both sugars and Fleischmann's with electric mixer on medium-high speed until well combined.
- Add applesauce, eggs and vanilla; beat until well blended.
- Gradually stir in flour mixture just until blended. Stir in morsels.
- Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Drop batter by rounded tablespoons onto baking sheet 2 inches apart.
- Bake 12 to 17 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; transfer to wire rack, cool completely.
- Store in covered container.
