Electrolyte Jelly Bites

Hydrating, refreshing gelatin bites. Great pre or post workout treat!

Serves: 1

Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 2  cups water
  • 3  tablespoons  collagen (I used Great Lakes gelatin powder)
  • 1 (2 1/2g) packet sugar, free electrolyte powder (like Propel)

Directions

  1. Add 1/2 cup room temperature water to a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin evenly over top.
  3. Allow to bloom for 5 minutes.
  4. Add 1 and 1/2 cups very hot or boiling water to gelatin and stir.
  5. When gelatin has completely dissolved, stir in electrolyte powder until dissolved.
  6. Pour into container or silicon molds.
  7. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until set.
