Elaine's Caramel Snack Mix

Chex cereal, pretzels, nuts, M&M's all covered in caramel

Ingredients

• 3⁄4 cup butter
• 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
• 1⁄3 cup  Karo syrup
• 12  cups  Chex cereal
• 8  ounces  small pretzels
• 1 (12 ounce) bag  M&M's
• 1 (18 1/4ounce) can  deluxe  mixed nuts

Directions

1. Place cereal and pretzels in microwave safe bowl.
2. Combine butter, brown sugar and karo in sauce pan and boil for 2 minutes. Pour over cereal mixture.
3. Microwave for 4 minutes, stirring every 1 1/2 minutes. Add M&M's and microwave for 1 minute longer.
4. Pour onto grease waxed paper and let cool.
