Eggnog

Ingredients
- 12 eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup Bourbon
- 1⁄4 cup rum
- 1⁄4 cup brandy
- 1 quart half-and-half
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- nutmeg
Directions
- Beat egg yolks until lemon yellow in color. Gradually add sugar. Add bourbon, rum and brandy very slowly. Add half and half. Mix well.
- Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
- To serve, whip egg whites until stiff; gradually add powdered sugar. Fold into bourbon mixture.
- Whip cream, add vanilla and fold into bourbon/egg white mixtures. Serve in punch bowl and sprinkle with nutmeg.
