Yields: 10 Patties
Ingredients
- 6 medium mushrooms, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1⁄4 medium sweet green pepper, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup cooked meat or 1⁄2 cup cooked poultry or 1⁄2 cup cooked seafood, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 pinch dried ginger
SAUCE
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients together (not the sauce ingredients), blend well, put aside.
- Mix the sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
- Cook stirring constantly until clear.
- Keep warm.
- When you are ready to serve; Heat oil in skillet.
- Shape mixture into 10 patties and put in skillet.
- Cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes each side.
- Serve with the sauce (heated) over top.
