Edamame With Scallions and Sesame

Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) bag frozen edamame, shelled
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 2 tablespoons scallions, finely chopped
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
- Bring edamame, soy sauce and water to a boil in a saucepan over medium high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 12 minutes or until tender. If any liquid remains, cook until the liquid has evaporated.
- Remove from heat. Stir in the sesame oil, canola oil, hot pepper sauce, scallions and black pepper. Serve.
