Easy Vietnamese Dipping Sauce - Tien Dat Replica.

I found this on a Vietnamese website, I have tweaked it to taste like "Tien Dat" Vietnamese restaurants dipping sauce, fast easy and keeps for up to 2 weeks in the fridge. Serve at room temp.

• Ready In: 5 mins
• Yields: 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup white sugar (fine)
• 1⁄2 cup hot water, not boiling
• 1⁄4 cup fish sauce
• 1⁄4 cup white vinegar
• 1  tablespoon fresh lime juice
• 1  tablespoon  minced garlic, fresh or 1  tablespoon  from a  jar
• 1⁄4-1  teaspoon  dry  chili flakes, to suit you

Directions

1. Place all ingredients in a bowl or a jar and mix until sugar is dissolved.
