Easy Turtle Cheesecake

This recipe is favourite among my family and simple to make.

  1. Crust:
  2. Mix ingredients and press into 9 x13 inch pan.
  3. Caramel filling:
  4. Combine all ingredients (except pecans) in saucepan, melt and bring to a boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool 15 minutes. Spread over the crumb crust. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  5. Chocolate Layer:
  6. Mix instant jello with milk. Add 1 cup of cool whip and cream cheese and mix until smooth. Pour over caramel and pecan layer.
  7. Top with the rest of the cool whip.
  8. Chill.
