Yields: 4-5 pie shells
Ingredients
- 1 lb lard
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 1⁄2 cups cake-and-pastry flour
Directions
- Mix baking powder, salt and flour in a large bowl. In another bowl, dissolve lard in boiling water. Add dry ingredients and stir well.
- Cover with foil and refrigerate over night.
