Easy Spinach Bake

Ingredients
- 2 (10 ounce) pkges. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 1 (3 ounce) pkge. cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled
- 1 (2 7/8ounce) can French-fried onions
- 1⁄2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- In a large bowl, using a fork, combine spinach, sour cream, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, egg, seasonings and 2/3 rds can of french fried onions.
- Put spinach mixture into a 2 quart casserole.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Top with cheddar cheese and remaining french fried onions and bake for 5 minutes more or until onions are golden brown.
