Easy Sausage and Rice

Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage, I like Jimmy Dean
- 1⁄3 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1⁄3 cup onion, chopped
- 1⁄4 cup celery, chopped
- 3 cups water
- 1 1⁄2 cups long grain rice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Brown sausage, green pepper, onion and celery. Drain well.
- Add water, rice, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
- Remove from heat and allow to rest 10 minutes.
- Enjoy.
