Easy Onion Bread

From my Breadman book. Makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf. This makes a nice, dense, chewy loaf of bread. I used half dried onions and half dried shallots when I made this. Yum!

• Yields: 1 loaf

Ingredients

• 3⁄4 cup water
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons canola oil
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons honey
• 1  egg
• 1⁄4 cup  dried onion flakes
• 2 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
• 3⁄4 cup whole wheat flour
• 2  tablespoons powdered milk
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons sea salt
• 2 1⁄2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions

1. Put all the ingredient into the bread machine, in the order according to the manufacturer.
2. Set basic wheat cycle and medium crust setting.
