Easy Oatmeal Favorites

Easy isn't the word to describe these cookies. They take less than 5 minutes to whip up.

• Yields: 32 cookies

Ingredients

• 1  cup butter (two sticks)
• 1  cup flour
• 1  cup sugar
• 1  teaspoon baking soda
• 2  cups oatmeal (quick cook)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
3. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Press down with a fork. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.
