Easy Noodles & Cheese

Ingredients
- 2 cups pasta (elbows, shells, bow ties)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups onions, roughly chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cottage cheese, drained
Directions
- Cook the pasta according to package and drain.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter, add the onions, and sauté over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
- Add salt and continue sautéing for another 10-15 minutes, until onions are somewhat shrunken and medium- to dark-brown in colour.
- Stir in the pasta and cook for a minute or two, then add cottage cheese. Keep stirring - when the cottage cheese just starts to melt, it's ready - serve immediately.
