Easy Meringue

Ingredients
- 4 egg whites
- 1 -1 1⁄2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Directions
- If using whole eggs, separate whites from yolks and put in a bowl.
- Beat whites for 3-5 mins by hand.
- Put whites, sugar, and vanilla in a mixer and begin beating on speed 4 or 6.
- Beat for 15-20 minutes or until very thick, stiff, white, and creamy.
- Put on your favorite food or store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
