Easy Italian Crock Pot Soup - Frugal Family Favorite

This is a combination made by looking at a bunch of soup recipes one day trying to find one I had all the ingredients on hand to make lol. None did so I used the best of each to make my own. It makes a lot and is good warmed up for lunch the next day too. Show more

Directions

  1. Brown & drain the meat. I rinse mine as well. Add to crock pot,
  2. Chop the carrots and celery into small pieces and add in, followed by everything else but the rice. It is fine to just throw the beans in dry.
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 6. Before serving add cooked rice. If you like your soup more like gumbo in consistency use 3 cups rice, if you like it soupy just use 2 cups.
