Easy Hamburger Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs ground beef, browned and drained
  •  salt
  •  pepper
  • 1 (32 ounce) package  frozen southern hash browns
  • 2 (10 3/4ounce) cans  cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 1 12 cups  shredded cheese (Colby Jack, cheddar, etc)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Brown ground beef in a 12 inch skillet, season to taste with salt and pepper; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Set aside.
  4. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non stick spray.
  5. Layer in the pan half the beef, half the hash browns, half the soup mixture and half the cheese. Repeat.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Remover foil and bake another 30 minutes until potatoes are fork tender.
  8. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes, then cut and serve.
