Easy Ham, and Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6  ounces  egg noodles, wide
  • 4 12 teaspoons flour
  • 1  teaspoon mustard, dry
  • 14 teaspoon sage, dried,and crumbled
  • 18 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 12 cups skim milk
  • 6  ounces ham, reduced fat
  • 1  cup peas, frozen,thawed and drained
  • 1 12 tablespoons croutons, fat free,crushed

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook the noodles using the directions on the package, omitting the salt.
  3. In a medium-size bowl combine the flour, mustard, sage, nutmeg, and pepper; slowly whisk in the milk and set aside.
  4. Combine cooked, and drained noodles with the ham and peas.
  5. Add the milk mixture and stir well.
  6. Spoon into an ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole; sprinkle with the crutons.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake 10 minutes longer until bubbly and lightly browned.
