Easy Crepe

One day i wanted to make french toast, i got the batter together but found i had no toast. So instead i use tortilla's and filled them with fresh fruit, and it turned out quite nice, tasted to me like a crepe. *This is thicker than a regular crepe, but it still is delicious. Show more

Serves: 1-2

Yields: 2 crepes

Ingredients

  • 2  tortillas
  • 2  egg whites
  • 1  teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1  teaspoon water
  • 14 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1  tablespoon sugar
  • 1  teaspoon butter (for frying)
  • 1  tablespoon  fruit preserves
  • 12 tablespoon water

Directions

  1. Beat eggs with water until frothy. Mix in the cinnamon, sugar and vanilla . Melt butter on a skillet set at medium heat or a little higher than medium.
  2. Dip the tortillas in egg mixture and fry until both sides are light golden brown.
  3. Mix the fruit preservative and water, microwave for 30 seconds to make topping.
  4. Serve with fruit topping, you can also serve with fresh fruit.
