Easy Celebration Ice Cream Cake

For ice cream and chocolate lovers! This is adapted from the Celebrate with Cool Whip booklet.

Serves: 10

Ingredients

  • 10  chocolate wafer cookies
  • 1  pint ice cream, softened (any flavor)
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar  chocolate  fudge sauce
  • 3 (2 1/8ounce) packages  chocolate-coated caramel nougat bars
  • 8  ounces Cool Whip Topping, thawed

Directions

  1. Line 9 inch round cake pan with plastic wrap.
  2. Arrange cookies in bottom of pan.
  3. Spread ice cream over cookies.
  4. Reserve 1/2 cup fudge sauce. Drizzle/pour remaining fudge over ice cream.
  5. Mix candy into whipped topping. Spread over fudge sauce.
  6. Drizzle remaining fudge sauce onto topping.
  7. Freeze 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Lift cake out of pan; peel off plastic wrap.
  9. Let stand 10 minutes.
  10. Top with additional candy, if desired.
