Easy Caramel Oat Brickle Bars

I found this recipe a while back and was going to make them this week. I thought I'd share the recipe here. The mixture melts together forming brickle-type "cookie" like bars--a little granola-like. Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch cookie sheet.
  3. Over low heat, melt butter.
  4. Remove from burner, adding in the salt, baking powder, vanilla and oats.
  5. Combine mixture well.
  6. Firmly press into the cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 8-12 minutes, until firm, not crumbly!
  8. Cut while hot.
